    Beautiful British name

I thought the origins of the name were Germanic?

Chlodovech (Fr king) -> Clovis (Latinised) -> Louis. French name originally. But a good British name now
  • The Huelins/Fanackapans are clearly trendsetters .

    Middle grandson is Louis Benjamin.

My life as a Toby - growing up in Middle Park in the 70's /80's would have been pretty grim

Thankfully little Louis won't have that problem at Ludgrove amongst the Tarquins of this world.

People are still going to read my name off a list and call me 'Lewis', even though LITERALLY EVERY FAMOUS LOUIS I CAN THINK OF EXCEPT THAT GYMNAST IS PRONOUNCED LOO-EE

Has there been a royal baby? you would have thought it would have been in the papers or on telly somewhere. Next thing you know they will sneak a royal wedding past us.
