With Common Goal the Sad part is it’s not even what would be callled high profile Premier league players. I bet most of them would have no idea where Hartlepool even was.
Only 36 names on the members list in total Mata and Hummels would be the best known. When you think of the money some of the top players earn it’s a pretty poor showing.
When it comes to footballers putting their hands in their pockets to help out smaller clubs to say it’s unlikely would be an understatement.
I really hope Hartlepool get out of this mess, always been one of my other clubs,apparently there is a possibility of financial support from Sweden

Hartlepool United board members have asked owner Raj Singh to commit to further funding, with a takeover of the National League club still in "limbo".
Singh put the club up for sale in April 2023 following their relegation from the English Football League and resigned from his role as the club's chairman in March this year, stating his decision came amid abuse from a section of the club's fan base.
