Which local derbies have you been too?

Just about to set off to see the great historical rivalry that is LA Galaxy v LA FC unfold.

Got me thinking that other than Charlton & our lovely neighbours I don’t think I’ve been to any other derbies that I remember.

Am sure someone on here has been to the Timbuktu derby or somesuch rarity!

    Spurs/Arsenal
    Liverpool/Man U - not technically a derby but ...
    Man U/Man City
    Chelsea/Arsenal
Olympiakos/AEK - guest of the Chairman/owner of Olympiakos and very pleased to have his protection - utter lunacy inside and outside the ground.

Would love to go to an Old Firm game - on the bucket list.

Port Vale v Wolves (sort of Derby) in 1988. Mate was studying at Keele University at the time & thought it would be good to take in a game whilst I was up there visiting.

    Slough Town v Wycombe Wanderers.
It's a dead derby now though because Slough couldn't follow (or lead them) up the leagues.

    Come on you Rebels!

Sparta v Slavia (Prague), several times. Usually piss poor, the first one in 93 was easily the best I saw. Passed on the latest one, which was a big mistake. Sparta 3-0 up at H-T, Slavia levelled on 93m.

Few years ago I was at Torquay v Exeter. Don’t come much bigger than that.

We laugh, but the 90s football biz guru Alex Fynn , explaining the "event like nature of games", wrote "So Peterborough vs Cambridge is an Event, whereas Liverpool vs Charlton Athletic is not"

    Bastard was right, though..
