Can't see the milk bill there.
Very concerning0 -

KM still listed as a Director. Is this because she was for the time the accounts cover?
Sorry, I'm confused as to RM's involvement with the club. Can anyone shed any light on this as it stands today?0 -
One of KM's last duties before deserting the SS (sinking ship) Duchatelet was to sign them off on 20/12/171

We made a profit.
Yet CARD protest.
Shows that Meire, Duchatelet and Robinson have proved the fans wrong.3 -
Are the vol-au-vents quoted on a separate line?i_b_b_o_r_g said:Can't see the milk bill there.

I'm no tax expert, but I think Brake Bro's are on a bit of cash in hand here.bobmunro said:

If Brakes paid the correct amount of tax on the sales of vol-au-vents and milk, we'd be able to pay back tuition fees for the last god knows how long.......

I’d love to see the breakdown of the £16m profit on player sales.0
-
Operating loss up from £12.6m to £14.3m covered by £16.2m of player sales.2
-
Contingent payments potentially due to the club on past player sales: £8.6m (as of June 2017). Based on a mix of future appearances, international honours and on-field success.0

No point in me wasting my time here until Napa has cast his eyes over them.29

Also interesting to note that the "debt" started at £21.6m on the purchase on 4/1/14 & now stands at £57.7m even though last year we didn't make a loss due to play sales of the £16m stated, with (as the report states) this very unlikely to happen again in the near future. The 2017/18 accounts if not sold by June 30th is going to make very interesting reading.0 -
You can only sell those players once though.

It's weird I've spent most of my career avoiding documents like these and now I've got it open and am trying to pour over it.
It's really as much an indictment of how shit BVB are playing as anything to be honest.
By the way, let's give credit where it's due because it's really down to the players that we made a profit.
Lee Novak and Andrew Crofts, thank you for leaving.2 - Sponsored links:

There is only one figure of interest for me, and that's the £1.6 million (33%) year-on-year reduction in match day revenue. Operating costs (excluding staff costs), on the other hand, barely moved.
Clear evidence that the protests were successful in their aim of hitting Roland in the pocket, and there is no doubt in my mind this is one of the key drivers pushing Roland to sell. Well done everyone!26 -
I see that the properties are shown as leasehold.
I wonder who the freeholder (s) is and what the implications might be regarding a sale?2 -
Am I right in thinking/reading that last year the spent a mere £1m on the training ground project?0
-
Also noticed that we got a payment from UEFA for having Gudmonsson at the Euro's. Doesn't say how much but comparing the figures to the previous season I'd estimate around £250k.2

A little surprising though that Commercial income held up at £1.2m albeit down £29k, considering the number of sponsors believed to have withdrawn their support.Jodaius said:There is only one figure of interest for me, and that's the £1.6 million (33%) year-on-year reduction in match day revenue. £16.2m profit on player registrations, £1m spent on training ground
So much for the Lookman money going on the Training Ground project36 -

Pick it apart how we want, please just bugger off Roland!4

Perhaps - but won't this include the change in sponsor from UoG in 2015/16 (who I believe weren't paying anything), to a commercial sponsor in 2016/17? If so, the fact that there wasn't a sizeable increase in this revenue stream tells its own story. Bear in mind as well that this figure will include a number of non-fan related revenue streams such as corporate venue hire, pitch hire, etc. which will have been less protest-sensitive.RedChaser said:
