Is it just me or does anyone else enjoy the Aussies crying? The gloating when they win is unbearable. They are the Worlds worst loses. David Warner and others can give it out but they can't take it.

Because Canterbury is in N Zealand?

But seriously because Test cricket is dying. A shame but a fact.

    Looks lovely there though.

    Lol should have sent Kent!

Christchurch is the largest city on the South Island though, just seems odd the lack of interest.

Does look lovely, which i suppose is my point.

Not much else to do in NewZealand....!

Five wickets for Broad, four for Jimmy... shame we've let the Kiwis get soclose to our score after having them on the ropes.

Both upper middle orders have failed to perform in the first innings and have been bailed out by 6, 7, 8 and 9.

Broad's first 5 wicket haul for 2 years. Bowled brilliantly but that shouldn't disguise the fact he has been bang average for some time now. Admittedly not helped by the fact there has been a lot of reliance on him and Anderson as seamers outside of England.

Appalling tactics by England trying to get the last wicket. Broad had flagged up yesterday how they would be using the short-ball more as we had struggled against it but it was so overused it was ridiculous. We got early wickets today with the new ball by pitching it up but when the last two Kiwis were in we decide to try and bounce them out. Root has to take some blame, he looked so out of his depth (not for the first time) moving fielders all the time, following the ball.
