Bristol Rovers away 7/4/18 advance purchase train tickets

GWR have released tickets for this game, they're not cheap.

The cheapest tickets before a railcard discount are £18 single.

The 9.20 going out is the last before they rocket to £34. There is a 11.45 getting in at 13.24 but this really is the latest one to catch as the ground is about 3 miles from the station.

Coming home the 18.00 18.41 and 19.30 are £18 single. The 18.00 is the earliest one to catch unless you want to rush for the 17.30 and 17.41

Short of getting a taxi, budget on an hour getting to the ground. A 15 minutes walk from Temple Meads to the city centre then a 20 minutes bus journey.

  • I can't believe anyone's still commited enough to even consider bothering to go, given the current shower being served up.

    You're all heroes.

    Isn't Bristol Parkway slightly nearer?

That article says that Montpellier station and Parkway are both about 2 miles from the ground. Temple Meads is considerably further

It's possible that the bus service from the city centre is better though

Parkway is a bit rural. Not too much in the way of pubs there.

The aways are VERY relaxing when nothing to play for.

I'm going to enjoy my second and last game of the season!!!
