Karl Robinson accepted the poisoned chalice of becoming Cafc manager under a toxic owner. He may be only 37 but having been a manager since he was 29 and over 400 games under his belt he is one of the most experienced in League 1. Also he was the youngest holder of the UEFA pro A Licence in England. With two play-offs and an automatic promotion from League 1, what could possibly go wrong ! From a playing point of view, we have too many players who get injuries when there's a strong breeze. To have a plan B you need the players to carry this out. Too many wingers and attacking midfielders. Like a Japanese company: No strikers. I just don't think Robinson can recover from sleeping with the devil( metaphorically speaking) New owners , New broom. Good luck Karl, nothing personal.

Two playoffs that he lost. Two seasons he failed to make the playoffs. One season with a premiership striker and the best young English midfielder in the country got promoted. Lost both players then relegated under KF Charlton side. If we make the playoffs this time we won't go up with KR in Charge if we do (which I hope we will) he was hope less in the Championship. Has to go asap.

KR on his time at #CAFC (1/2):

"I’m frustrated with it [takeover] because we’ve got players who are out of contract in the summer.
"I’ve had two very difficult transfer windows. I came to Charlton thinking we were going to be a powerhouse. That's frustrated me as well."

‘Ever get the feeling you’ve been cheated’.

Yes, he should have known what he was letting himself in for.
Yes he was naive to believe RD.

But would any of us have taken the job if we were in his position (and weren’t Charlton fans)? Probably yes, if we were out of work and fancied a challenge.
Would we have done any better than him? Well obviously I would have, not sure about you lot
    ;-)

  • Robinson was prepared to be a puppet for the Belgians.

He's now p***** off with it and now trying to get sympathy. He cannot have it both ways.

When he was dancing with Roland and backing him getting the DJ fired whilst lording it in the room in front of better coaches than he will ever be RD wasn’t the enemy

You reap what you sow and he can do one

Please have him Oxford. The guy is living off one season of Dele Alli in the third division.
  • As people on this site keep saying we have games in hand what's the point of getting rid of KR.

"Quote about scoring loads of goals like when his MK team scored over 100 in a season" (can't be bothered to find what he actually said)

Yes but those games are so late in the season they wont matter!!

Just get rid. What’s the point in leaving him till the summer, he shouldn’t be allowed to sign anyone anyway. Living off of a team with Dele Alli and Benik Afobe.

Straw that broke the camels back today - we’re absolute shit and have been for months. Time to go, we won’t get play offs with him in charge until end of season, not a chance

We're not getting play offs under KR. We're not getting play offs under a new manager as they have no time to change things around and make a big enough impact. This season is pretty much a write off with 10 plus games to go.

Do I think Robinson will get us promoted next season? No I don't. It's time to get rid.

Simply don’t have the depth in quality in the squad for any kind of successful season, whatever a “success” would be. Been like that since Duchatelet arrived.
  • Get rid of him now... We're going no where this season so give the new man a month to work out his squad for next season and who is needed

He will get the sack a few days after we are sold. Whenever the hell that is.

    Managers sadly dont walk anymore.

He will need to be sacked for him to go!!
