weird move imo. young lad shipped out to a foreign team. I would have thought staying in England & joining a lower Premiership side (Brighton) or a top 8 Championship side might have served him better

Allardyce shouldn't be allowed near good footballers. Good move for Lookman.

Good experienced professional defender who won’t let you down. Can’t buy better for a short term fix.

Don't disagree he's a decent player but for the money it's crazy, but I guess that's football as a whole now.

Nor me.
When I think of arsenal centre halfs I think of Adams Keown Bould Campbell etc.
Evans is not fit to lace their boots and that's why he is where he is.
If palace or Bournemouth was after him I could understand it.but arsenal wtf.

only thing is that was then. their defenders now struggle to lace their own boots. I've watched arsenal a few times this season and nearly every game their defence look a complete disaster and its hilarious to watch. think Evans would be a good fit purely because he's not much better than what they already have.
it doesn't change the fact that he lost the plot when he started signing these defenders and he's continuing to do so. long may in continue.

The fact that you think he'd be better off at a top 8 Championship side instead of a team a point outside the Champions League places in the Bundesliga playing with loads of internationals (Werner, Keita, Forsburg, Poulson, Kampl, etc) is everything wrong with English football these days (it's not obviously, but it's a ridiculous comment).

Am I missing something? Whenever I've seen him he looks like an average, forgettable but busy Championship striker at best. I know strikers are in high demand but... Huh?
