  • Assume The Marlowe Rooms in Sidcup has gone saggy tits up.

Notorious in the day as a magnet for the single/married/divorcee/granny/desperate ladies......mainly from the Ferrier.

    Or maybe I dreamt it.

Blimey Marlow was bulldozed over 10 years ago, and was going as Plastic Red for quite a few years prior to that.

That vid of the Millers was not the normal grab a granny Friday night. It was the specialist grab a Granee, northern soul night that occurs on occasional Sunday's.

Come on gents is there no one out there still hitting today's equivilant of the Beaverwood Club, Plastic Red, Tolgate Motel, Inn on the lake over 30s but really over 45,s nights. Believe there is a monthly one at Holiday Inn at Chatham called Indulgance, an Welling Utd run one called Soirée On Friday.

I come on here for help, only to discover I am the oracle for grab a granny. You lot are all talk !

A couple of mates went to the one at Welling a while ago and said they were treated like fresh meat by the regular Doris's as they walked in.

You could always pay for a cab see if you can get lift off somebody.

You could then do what you did at Gillingham last season....get a tray, pretend you are the pot man, collect drinks off of tables and then take them over to the people you pretended to buy a round for. And then claim that the half empty glasses were from spillages when walking back from the bar, because you are only little and couldn’t see past the top of the bar stools.

I suppose I'd only need a lift one way.......

After you conned The Marriott into them believing you were a guest, did Chris Wilder go to The Millers once you finished the interview with him?

No. He was a good bloke though. I asked him why he did t take the Charlton job - his response was a classic...”would you?”

He’d have said that all night if he’d gone to The Millers with you.

I think I'd rather stay at home & have a wank. Worst music in the world, Northern soul & r 'n b. No wonder I've given it the swerve in the past.

That video has to be the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. I often click on a "lol" button on here if something makes me smile but watching that had me in stitches.

Don’t know what all the fuss is about. This clip could be of any of a thousand northern boozers albeit a tad more classier.

forget the pubs, he needs to get on dating sites

I know we're 20 months too late but this is the first time I have seen this thread... The above was the best response by far. No flowers and chocolates required. Just a bottle of wine and a cheeky meet up.
