Scenes in French supermarkets...

What is the world coming to when a s**t chocolate spread causes, what you'd like to believe to be, rational human beings to act like utter morons? We see it here on black Friday and I just don't understand the feral nature of some people.

With my cynical world weary head I've got to ask, is this for real or some Katrien style bit of viral marketing?1

Could've been worse, at least they didn't reduce the price of white flags.Big_Bad_World said:...over the reduction in price of Nutella.

Seriously though, it's madness. A couple of quid off a chocolate spread, how much of the stuff can you get through anyway?DaveMehmet said:

I always think when I read things like this and black Fridays etc that I'd rather pay the full price for things than reduce myself to that.12 -

Black Friday when I think it peaked over here a couple of years back was showing human beings in their lowest formDaveMehmet said:

Any Ikea in north London is a sight to behold on black Friday. People will literally kill each other for a poorly made, chipboard bedside unit that you then have to spend 2 weeks putting together.cabbles said:

Didnt realise my kids were French. They riot over stupid stuff like this.0

And people said there was nothing new to start threads about.

A sign of the times. Dinner party invitations from our French friends are best avoided these days on account that the food served up is pretty dire. Cooking by French people is probably best left to the chefs that work in London restaurants. That cheap Nutella in France has that reaction shouldn’t come as any surprise.

"They are like animals. A woman had her hair pulled, an elderly lady took a box on her head, another had a bloody hand," one customer told French media."
Horrific injuries.

I know someone who recently got a chocolate Labrador puppy and has called it Nutella. I told her that's the worst name for a dog I've ever heard.1
