Jim Rodford, bass player with the Zombies, Argent and later, The Kinks has died at 76.

Met him a couple of times when he played with the Kast off Kinks, was a really nice guy.

Saw him a couple of times in recent years playing locally with Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone and as a massive Kinks fan have all the albums he played on.
By all accounts a lovely man. RIP

I came home from our win to find Jim had passed away which was a real downer, so thanks DaveMehmet for starting the thread as the last gig I saw were the Zombies at the Palladium. Thoughts to his family as he seemed a great bloke.
