On the 27th February it will be exactly two years since the forward last scored a goal - some 40 games and the equivalent of playing more than a whole season without doing so.

He clearly sees some benefits in arriving so early. Although I wouldn't guarantee that he would find the net - even with no opposition!

A talented player it would seem when he first broke into WBA’s first team. I question his attitude based on bits and pieces that have been written about him over the last few years. This little thing perhaps highlights he’s either a little bit dense or just got people around him that do everything for him

A couple of years ago there was a piece on TV about him working with a specialist "finishing" coach. I wouldn't be surprised if that particular coach is now out of business.

With his record, he might be someone we are looking at. ;)

Or equally unsurprised if the coach was now working at Sparrows Lane.

Looking on the positive side, his cutting in on gloss work is immaculate although he is a bit slap dash with vinyl emulsion over larger areas...

probably too busy counting his money !

i think his family are from Angola (or a former portuguese colony anyway) ..his name makes him sound like an exotic brazilian import though ...i wonder if the media over hyped him a bit because of the name rather than his ability

My fault he doesn't score. I put him in my fantasy team as a gamble next to Kane and Lukaku.

Suffice to say, although i've not checked in ages, I'm doing badly!
  • I've heard of players who arrive early in the box, but that's taking it a bit far

Not even on the bench tonight

Had a shocker last night, missed an open goal with no defenders around him
  • I'm always arriving early

Seems he's been over compensating by consistently arriving late for training and games. As a result was banished from the first team squad for yesterday's match against Spurs. One couldn't see Harry Kane being late for training - but then he hasn't gone over two years and 41 games since he scored!

Another example of a young player who got paid far too much too early and has lost any appetite for wanting to succeed in the game.

Instead, these young players who do have talent, are seeing the £ signs too much and thinking they’ve already made it in life.
