Didn't we sign him from Dulwich Hamlet?1
-
Just logged on to start this thread. How old is he? Does he pass the height test? What position and type of player? Is he on trial, contract or what? Is he South London's answer to Messi?
I do not like players sneaking into the team behind my back. Downright shady I call it.3 -
Looked very good tonight. Strong in the tackle, decent positional sense and got forward as well. Can’t really judge him as it was easentially an U23 game.
Not sure what his contract situation is, but would think he has probably roused some interest after a display like that.1 -
Signed a one year deal in August0
-
will be sold in January.9
-
Back on loan February0
-
How old is he? What position?0
-
Plays LB. came from Dulwich Hamlet. Used to play for Hatcham in the Orpington & Bromley District League.1
-
Played well. Makes sense he had come from non league as he was struggling towards the end getting up to support the attacks, but overall something to work with0

Some of you may have ignored the thread when he signed due to the title...

He was (is?) 20 and signed from Dulwich Hamlet. No fee though they have a sell on clause and we'll play them in a friendly. He wasn't first choice for them, I guess he's done very well to be playing for our first team this early.

He has been playing either right or left side of midfield for the U23s. I have seen him play about five times now and he is very quick and strong. He has also got a good engine. He is very versatile and can see why the Club gave him a contract. It is early days for him but I hope he progresses.10

Always looked good on the 3 occasions I have watched him. Quick, strong and very enthusiastic. He has a good chance of making it.1

DaSilva will be back next year as our Championship Left-Back and the year after that as Chelsea will want him to gain a years experience in the Premier League before they decide how much money they can get for himRedrobo said:
With DaSilva gone at the end of the season he could have a chance of extending that contract. How old is he?_nam11 said:Plays LB. came from Dulwich Hamlet. Used to play for Hatcham in the Orpington & Bromley District League.

This is pretty close to the mark I believe . If we go up Da Silva will stay , if not he’ll be loaned out to another championship team , Palace maybe.ForeverAddickted said:

So he wasn't good enough to be Dulwich hamlet's 1st choice left back but good enough for us to sign him?Scoham said:Some of you may have ignored the thread when he signed due to the title...

played on loan for Phoenix a couple of years ago didnt really stand out but seems to have progressed nicely.0

It's never as simple as that. He has a lot of pace and good control. With full time training he will progress. There are late developers, just look at someone like Ian Wright.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Our scouts must have liked what they saw and the better the players around you, the more your own game can improve.
Good luck to the lad hope he grabs his opportunity to progress with both hands and from what dick plumb reckons on half a dozen games, he is certainly giving it his best shot,1 -
And maybe Dulwich made a mistake by not making him their first choice left-back......dickplumb said:

I thought he looked good last night as did the lad that scored Fulham's first goal,Thorstennsson.0

Can I just say, that picture really makes him look so out of proportion, it’s like he has two different peoples legs!2

Because no player has ever progressed more at a big club than a non league one.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Don't get me wrong i'm not questioning him as a player, just surprised that the second choice full back from a side 4 (or is it 5) tiers below us was even on our radardickplumb said:

@northstandsteve another recent Phoenix boy (Jack Barham) is currently on trial with Millwall0
-
Agree it does look odd but it might be that Dulwich play a certain way and this lad has a different style which didn't quite suit. It's an interesting one and it sounds like the boy had a fairly decent crack at it last night.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Jack left a couple of weeks ago to join Greenwich Borough, there have been league clubs sniffing round him for a few weeks, very good movement and a great jump for someone of his size, I am really hoping there isn't anything sinister in this, ie join Greenwich Borough put him on a contract use Gary Alexander's contact's at Millwall and they then get a fee for him, but I suppose that is the difference they can afford a contract for him. Brunello was impressed with him when he came to watch Phoenix v Glebe in FA CUP with me.As was NLA against Enfield in the next round.AFKABartram said:@northstandsteve another recent Phoenix boy (Jack Barham) is currently on trial with Millwall

I thought Mascoll was our best player last night, but I didn't think anyone had a good game apart from him.
You have to bear in mind the likes of Reeves, Marshall and Jackson were taking it easy, on the way back from injury.1
