20m is cheap for decent infrastructure etc, however the team investment required to go up twice will be massive. Wigan struggled with attendances even in the prem, I’m not sure this is a great deal.
I do wonder how much due diligence is being undertaken.2 -

It does sound cheap. Is there a pressing need to offload it ? This could be an indication that Wigan are not going to be the promotion threat their early form is promising0

I would be more worried about who is doing due diligence on the buyer. And we all know how much of that will be carried out.

Isn't the problem with a headline price of £20M that they may also be taking on debt of unknown size (to us) and is therefore making comparisons useless ?3

The other factor is that Dave Whelan may be willing to reduce the price for the right owner, prepared to invest. It's not as if he wants to make a profit out of the deal0

Roland Duchatelet has a distinct category for the Chinese. He talked of 'foreigners' or even 'Chinese', as if being Chinese makes a person even more alien that foreigners seem to be to some people.
To emphasise that if you are a Chinese person, and in this case a Chinese person acquiring a football club, you will make hot dogs out of real dogs (something a lot of non foreigners here would find gross) is a way of putting a race down by establishing an unpleasant connection.
Under the guise of humour and being a bit of fun.
As well as being funny to some people it is offensive to others, many more others I would suggest. The reason being that at heart individual people are demonised for no good reason than to make the fucking racists feel better about their own miserable selves.
