  • Stick Aribo in the middle and put Clarke on the wing, bit of a shuffle but assume he could play any of the 3 positions behind striker. Would not be confident having KAG or Dodoo there

As like every other Charlton game its a lottery, we might sneak a 2-1 win

    this....KAG isn't good enough
  • 3-0 to the flat track bullies.

3 points are always 3 points, but it's not winning a game like this that will define our season.

    Losing or drawing might however.

that bench is so devoid of a decent attacking option you may as well stick me there

In the absence of Holmes and with Lee Clarke as their manager (unbeaten in 15 seasons) can't see beyond a 0-5 trouncing.

If Dodoo gets a start I reckon the worst player ever thread will be revived tomorrow night.

Id love us to take the role of flat track bullies to be honest. How many times does a team get results against the big sides but fails to beat the little ones. Its a common complaint about Lukaku that he is a flat track bully and he prob is but all the time your beating the little teams we are picking up points. As you say 3 points is 3 points there are no bonus points on offer for beating one of the big teams.

Take Blackburn for example I genuinely thought they and Wigan would romp the league but they are below us because they are struggling to beat the smaller teams whom, on paper, they should be.

The general consensus on here pre season was that we would be top 6, win Bury and we are right back on course for that.

4-1 to the addicts on this one.

We need something out of this match.

Holmes will be a big miss.

I predicted the Gills defeat. I am predicting a defeat by Bury. The squad is not strong enough.

Not strong enough to beat Bury at home?

Although, I accept that Bury have a decent record at Charlton. I've seen us play them four times and we haven't won.

A surprisingly easy win 3.0 Charlton and we go on another winning run.

Last season Bury came in with intention getting a 0-0 but took advantage of us switchiing off at the back. But we need to get the psycholgy correct for this type of game against a side wo see a game like a game away to a big side at a big ground abliet not very full. We can't over or round the Bury wall so we have to smash it. An earlly goal or us going in front will force them to open up which then means if we keep closing them down effectively we can counter. But yeah it is that type of niggly, irritating game that cancause frustration as you are playing against that little team.

Not strong enough to bring two or three players in to refresh the team. Reeves is not fit, Marshall is not fit, Holmes is suspended. We will be forced to play Dodoo or Ahearne Grant. We have got no game changers on the bench. If we don't score first it could get messy.

Going to go, no idea why. Expect either 0-0 or 0-1 and a poor display from both sides.

Go on Charlton, prove me wrong....

Doodo is very poor. Was only brought in at the last minute because Rangers are paying most of his wages. They want him in the shop window so they can sell him in January. This information is from a good source.
  • We need to get konsa in the team somehow
    2-1 josh & jake

You could argue that if we win, we are averaging 2 points a game which is promotion form. I am surprised Bury are not doing better - they invested and improved in the summer. A tough game I reckon!

I think he will play Konsa and move Foster-Caskey forward.
  • I'd play KAG and I reckon he will do well.

I'd also be happy with Doodo or Aribo in that role. Or Aribo/Konsa coming in with JFC moving further up the pitch.

    4-1 Charlton.
  • We leak goals and always look vulnerable. Our poor last two games will become three. 2-0 to Bury and the outlook is bleak.

That makes a lot of sense if you're our weird owner.
