    Glad I swerved that one..

Me too. Getting drunk in Canterbury has been a far better experience. Looking forward to the Legends game tomorrow though.

just for clarification, I know I have to 'get a grip' but when can I 'wet the bed' or 'go into meltdown'?

Good start to the season slowly unravelling and while we created lots of chances today its clear KR has been given a paper thin squad that will not last in a promotion place until January sadly.

Its all so regrettable and avoidable.

    ....and predictable, and established.
  • Wtf was that all about
  • Great win for AFC at Blackburn today, Blackburn have lost 3 games already as well

  • Are we starting to miss Crofts already?

I still think our best eleven is stronger than last season's. But the lack of strong striker competition on the bench will come back to haunt us. Not just to cover injuries and suspensions, but also to keep Josh on his toes and to enable Robinson to make positive in-game changes.

It is no good hoping for reinforcements in January. Our chance of automatic promotion will almost certainly have gone by then. And Duchatelt/Meire won't splash the cash when prices are always inflated.

Play offs not out of reach for a good while yet, but we can't afford any more awful slip ups like todays.
  • Piss poor. Our options on the bench is worrying. As most people have said we seem to be getting found out a lot easier.

Poor performance against a side that will almost certainly be relegated.

What happened to “My players will respond – I’ve never been more certain of anything in my life" and "We have to go there like wounded and caged animals." Definitely looked wounded, most of them needed urgent veterinary attention. While we're at it, what happened to "the fans have got their team back". Looked like a standard Roland-era performance to me.

Had some pressure after we went a goal down but rarely tested their keeper. If you can't break down a side like that you ain't going up.

Need to make some changes to freshen it up next week, but difficult to do that when you've not got anyone to bring in aside from Konsa.

Well, we dominated them, didn't take our chances and then conceded a carbon copy of Wigan's first goal. Need more of a cutting edge, maybe need to start playing Dijksteel. Come in Number 20? (Oh god...)

Only game I have been to this season is Wigan and did not follow this one. However, we just failed to score v the bottom team and your analysis to solve the cutting edge is to drop Solly and play a young lad who looked decent in one pre season. Are you sure you are not Colin???

Garry Nelson and Colin Walsh are hoping to catch KR's eye tomorrow

    Says it all for me.

RD could have ensured a decent season for us. It should still happen but ridiculous that we have so little to put away all the chances we get.

Almost an action replay of the Plymouth game. We had more possession and chances but with only 1 decent striker in the squad and no-one good enough to replace him when he's tired, we're never going to score enough goals to beat teams we need to beat to go up.

Oh yeah, extra moan - flares are such a Palacy thing, please don't bother.
  • Still think we will be good enough to have a shot at the lower playoff places. Roland leaving us short yet again is looking just a stupid as every other window.

I wonder if there was a fair increase of season tickets sales after Southend? Especially to those fickle fans that after just a few wins, hoped this possibly could be our year! Still possible I suppose,
but I doubt this club will be going anywhere - with Karl Robinson.

I was there today and I'm going to try not to go over the top.
Having said that we were absolute shite.
Robinson has no plan B and we have no chance of promotion until he finds one.

An all round accomplished Charlton supporting experience.

    1. Healthy away attendance - check
    2. 100 minutes of on field dissapointment - check
    3. SKY not even bothered enough about us to get the reported score correct for 40 minutes - check
    4. Opposition playing proper shit ALL season given "leg up" - check
    5. Opposition coach threatened with the Spanish Archer if they lost putting his cv back in the office draw - check
    6. Losing to a bunch of in-bred pikey scum - check
    7. Soapy Jones' Saturday night right royally fucked over - check

... I can go on but you get the point, of course you bloody do!
  • KR needs to find another way to play when we are trying to break down the opposition, as our record when we concede first is shocking.
