Holger Czukay made some interesting music and, much like Steely Dan's Walter Becker, leaves us with a diverse body of work. Prior to forming Can, he studied under German avant-garde composer Karlheinz Stockhausen. Along with his solo work, Holger collaborated with numerous artists, including Brian Eno, the Eurythmics, Jah Wobble and the German band Trio.2

Rest In Peace Holgar, I've never really given Can a proper listen, so making up for it today on Spotify, 40 years to late, but enjoying it.1

Can wrote some fantastic songs, Mother Sky was the best in my view, one of the few songs that last a quarter of an hour and are still too short.
Apparently the original of Yoo Doo Right was six hours long - a six-hour version of Mother Sky would have been good.

RIP. Looked awesome live. One of the few bands I'd go far to see live these days. Awesome × 11.0
