Oldham v Charlton - Match Thread

Reeves will get there. He's still on a pre season schedule according to Karl so is built it up fitness. Knocks and strains in that period are to be expected. Also too early for him to play 2 games in a week. It's about gradually building up his minutes.3

Match threads are evolving.
Many overseas are getting a live stream via a one off payment, and many over here are doing the VPN thing and getting a live stream that way.
There remains the in house commentary from Valley Pass which some of us still use (I will be listening today), some people follow from official tweets on their facebooks, and some people follow by reading the match thread here. And of course proper Charlton attend the fecking match!
My question is, are there any fans out there who still simply depend on the 'traditional' match thread and updates from commentary, here on this match thread on Charlton life?
RedMidland and JiMMy85 have been marvellous in doing the update from commentary thing, but I am not sure of their intentions today.
I will do the update from commentary thing if nobody else does it, but only if there is a demand because fans can't follow events any other way.
Otherwise I will simply listen as it is easier overall.
Any comments?2 -
I will add any tweets that do not compromise any others Seth0

Weak up front and no experience on the bench-story of the last 3 years1

Obviously it's your choice Seth. It's whether you thinking a good use of your time and effort.
I appreciate the matxh threads on here at the moment as I'm too busy to listen to the game but can check in every now and then or read it back as it happened after the game.
Anything that can be put in here by anyone is greatly appreciated.6 -
keep it going Seth, always appreciatedseth plum said:Match threads are evolving.

I like the match threads but would understand if they were too much hassle.1

He only played 54 minutes. On Tuesday, and that was too much for him, so he couldn't even make the bench for a match when he are short on numberscantersaddick said:Reeves will get there. Hi, I follow the match thread on here.
Someone said you can pick up the CAFC cometary without paying the fee, but I am not sure if that is true and if it works on a pad?
Think I would stick with this thread if available as I enjoy it.0 - Sponsored links:

I'll follow the match thread too, if you can manage, Seth, thanks!0

Robinson said that Reeves would not be starting but would probably be on the bench. His injury must be worst than first thought.

I will do it, and not under any sufferance either don't mind that.
If I were only able to follow on here I would like as much real time as possible too, so I am glad to do it.5 -

I follow the match thread on here because I'm usually out and about but even I am at home this is the main way I like to keep up with what's going on.0

I know it's theoretically a one off during the international break, but that team has a horrible stink of the relegation season 15/16 about it. Players out of position and a crèche for a bench. Worrying that we already can't seem to get Reeves fit either.3

The replacements for De Silva and Magennis and the bench show how thin the squad is . Feeling a little nervy now , but still think we might get something from this .2

Because I have followed his career for a few years now, I would enjoy seeing George Lapslie make his pro league debut appearance for sure.
One of our own.5 -

Would have left Clarke as 10 as he does so well but KR might not see that as an realistic option.1 - Sponsored links:

As always I enjoy this version, and appreciate the efforts made by all concerned. Could well be a harder game today perhaps, so I promise to shout when appropriate. COYR0

The coverage from Oldham is now live on Valley Pass.0

Whenever KAG has come on this season, it's been in one of the wide positions, I guess that's where KR sees him in the squadHenry Irving said:

That bench is frighteningly weak3

Long live the match thread.0

Oldham have two starters called Wilson. One of them a Beach Boy. And a Bryan and a Byrne, and a Banks too.0
-
One of Ricky, Kash or Mag get injured and we are fecked this season2
-
I've got people round but they'll be leaving soon. I'll join in as soon as they do if Seth needs help.2

Happens when you don't have a proper pre-season. KR had been chasing him all summer & neglected to look for a striker. Whooppee....we finally got Reeves, who has not played a league game yet & now we have no striker.SDAddick said:
Yeah had tightness I think in his calf after Tuesday.MadGerman said:Is Reeves again injured?

Estimate of up to 500 Addicks to be there.0
