10-1 does seem quite a big price about us tonight even with a weakened side

That's a score prediction from @Viewfinder following our Saturday win!

My memory is f*ked these days, but did we not have a great win against a strong Norwich team in the League Cup at the start of the Powell promotion season, playing an all-reserve & youngsters line-up? I remember we lost to Preston in the next round after including some first-teamers to "strengthen" the team, but I cannot find confirmation that it was Norwich we beat in the earlier round. There is not mention of it here, so perhaps not?

    Feeling your pain!
Coming to the screening of Ha'way The Lads? There'll be loads more like us there!

Predictable 1-0 win for charlton followed by the usual members of the anti-charlton winning brigade who don't go to games posting if Norwich had scored two goals charlton would have lost, we need six new strikers, three new goal keepers, 4 right backs and they don't like Robinson

Very funny mate, even funnier that someone actually flagged you!
    Might flag this.
  • 1- 0 win to Charlton , no one will give us a chance , our players will be right up for it, COYR!

Novak is starting according to Lee Bowyer.
Big opportunity for him. Even though he's no new boy, it's almost as if he is at the moment.
    2-1 Norwich.

    Impressed by Bowyer.

I'm really not surprised especially if he does stick around

This will depend on how seriously Norwich take it. If it's effectively an U23 game between the two sides we have a decent chance, if they put out more than a couple of first teamers then I can see us playing quite well but going down 2-0, a bit like in the preseason friendly.

I personally hope we stay in the competition as long as possible and continue to field a youth team, its excellent experience for them without it really mattering if it all goes pear shaped in a game.

Is this likely to be televised anywhere in the world?

Not here. ESPN is showing Sheff United v. Leicester, Cheltenham v. West Ham (???), and Blackburn v. Burnley because fair enough their could be violence and riots in the streets that would cost in the upwards of tens of pounds.

  • Looks a very attacking line-up. Who are the holding midfielders?

One of Dijksteel or RCC will presumably be RB, with the other in midfield?

Strong looking Norwich side, though their fans seem to be moaning about the lack of a striker. Join the club!

    Philips
    Dijksteel Konsa Sarr Jackson/Charles Cook

    Aribo Charles Cook/Jackson

    Fosu Clarke KAG

    Novak

Or Dijksteel could play in the middle and RCC Right back
