For fans and much of the media, it's easier to rave about youngsters with great attacking flair - I remember Kieran Gibbs getting rave reviews for England - than defensive organisation and steadiness. The young Chris Solly for me stood out because he was so good defensively as well as going forward.JiMMy 85 said:

Walker-Peters played left back in Korea and was brilliant, heard he played at right back on Sunday and was given player of the match award.
England have got some excellent full backs in their main squad and in the yoof teams.
I'm guessing a bit here, but I think we're getting our youngsters into Futsal, not forcing them to play 11-a-side until they're older, getting them onto all-weather pitches and training kids to be technical and quick. And as a result, we've created the type of player that makes our U-20s look rather exciting, but perhaps at the cost of the next Eddie Youds.
It's not just us though, Barcelona to me have never properly replaced Carlos Puyol, all great teams need that defensive rock1 -

Me and my missus have been having this argument, been talking about the future and marriage etc. She's adamant that she's keeping her pretty uncommon sounding surname and having our kids have a double barrelled surname. This is literally the argument I gave for not doing it, you're taking away that choice from your children yourself. Bit cheeky but I'll be damned if I don't pass on my pathetic neutral sounding name that my grandfather adopted when he became an adult.Stig said:

I have a friend with a double-barrelled surname, who married someone with a normal, single surname. She dropped one of her surnames and double-barrelled the remaining one with the guy's surname.Stig said:

That is nice. My sister had friends whose surnames were Shoush and Pitfield.
