Brother of actor Alun Bennett better known as Alun Lewis known for the role of Darryl Stubbs in Birds of a Feather between 1989 and 1994. Aside from that, he has also appeared in The Bill, Rising Damp, New Tricks and Boon.

No , that was Hazell whose character was apparently based on the ex Charlton player Tony Hazell .

Not so much now but when I was younger people used to say I was his doppelganger!

Was a very fine actor. Sure he appeared in a decent
film with Hayley and John Mills in the late 60's.
Also was a great villian, briefly in Eastenders.
Remember his menacing quote ''Hello Phil''.

Sad news - Endless Night was a favourite film as a kid (as well as Shelly, of course). RIP
