I thought you just kept the page minimised?
  • I suppose if you stumble on too many websites, you might need tripadvisor.

There's a bloke that's currently driving a twenty-year-old TVR through 22 countries and 24k miles to get from the furthest north pub in the world to the furthest south pub. With an equally ancient Nissan Micra as a support car. Some of the places he's visited that he's posted up on Facebook have been really interesting. But he's also got a tracker fitted and you can see where he's got to here: https://pub2pubexpedition.com/track/ I find it strangely fascinating. (Although not at the moment as the car is back at Southampton waiting for a RoRo to the States!)

But I guess my interest in this aspect stems from liking the flight tracker apps and from wondering what some small Turkish freighter was doing tied up in the River Crouch. And finding out that there's a similar web site for tracking ships. vesselfinder.com

Has anyone ever tried saying to Siri 'adult material' and then it lists all the porn sites you've been on.

I mean, if you use your phone for that sort of thing.

Loads of short videos about all sorts of different things. Little snippets about less well known things or life's lovable eccentrics.

And I bumped into seatguru.com which is really useful for finding out what the seat configuration is on your flight and seeing which seats to avoid on check-in.

For example, on tomorrow's Virgin flight from LHR to LAX, seats 7A and 7K in Upper Class are standard flatbed seats but don't have a window. 9G is very close to the bar, so if you want to sleep..... Rows 51, 52 and 53 are by the bogs and best avoided, etc, etc.

I've mentioned this before but I have to use yahoo as my search engine on my phone because I have a gmail account and use google at work.

It would be a disaster on monumental proportions were my search history to pop up on my work laptop

Have used seatguru in the past, very good.
