Car Electrics - Blackheath area

Since getting a dab radio fitted a few years ago I have had continued problems with drained car battery and have had to call out AA umpteen times. Have had major service and MOT neither of which have sorted the problem. Can you recommend anyone to check out electrics in Blackheath area Thanks

    Holloway electrics, opposite East Greenwich fire station at Charlton.

    Not a recommendation but there's an auto electrics place opposite where the welcome inn used to be.

    Sounds like your live wire to the radio is permanently on, instead of getting switched off when the ignition is turned off.

    Wired to the wrong side of the ignition is my guess.

    I suggest you unplug the radio for while just to prove your theory correct.

    Other options that could be your problem:
    - Dodgy alternator.
    - Dodgy battery.
    - Dodgy owner.

    Not at all. Just sometimes owners leave the radio on whilst the engine is not running! Especially common with the auto off ignitions for when sat in traffic.
