South Africa played a weakened team too though.Covered End said:Not bothered about losing that game, as we played a weakened team.
If Hales, Root, Stokes etc had been playing, we would have won that at a canter.
Although I'm also not too bothered about the result. Entertaining game2 -
Just watched the highlights from yesterday. How England managed to lose that I have no idea.
As for the Roy obstruction, it was the correct decision as he clearly ran across the wicket to block the stumps0 -
Deciding game today at Cardiff - no doubt its a used pitch.
Odd line up for England. Morgan has rested himself.
1 Alex Hales, 2 Jason Roy, 3 Dawid Malan, 4 Jos Buttler (capt), 5 Sam Billings, 6 Liam Livingstone, 7 Liam Plunkett, 8 David Willey, 9 Chris Jordan, 10 Tom Curran, 11 Mason Crane.0 -
So, no Bairstow,Root,Stokes,Morgan,Ali,Rashid,Wood.
Cant see us wining this with a line up that has Plunkett coming in at 7 - unless the batters hit form.0 -
Bairstow must be pretty pissed off to lose his place again.0
-
SA win toss - England to bat first.0
-
In T20 you should not have to rely on the tail for runs the top six should be able to bat for at least 17 or 18 overs0
-
If you can hit the ball 150 feet straight up, there's runs there0
-
Another debut, hopefully Malan does better than Livingstone did in his debut match. A big match for Billings too1
-
Bilbo needs a big innings to show what he's capable of but I'm going to be nervous as soon as he arrives at the crease...killerandflash said:Another debut, hopefully Malan does better than Livingstone did in his debut match. A big match for Billings too

I think he's made his point already - so therefore, i think he's been rested.Chef_addick said:Bairstow must be pretty pissed off to lose his place again.

Another name not playing, of course,-Tymal Mills.1

Malan looking excellent. I remember having a nice chat with him at a county warm-up game ten years ago. He'd been in the country for about a week! The start of a long journey...1
-
At the game - Malan started well. Great movement. Hales struggling after knock to knee. Crowd loving SA horror fielding. Bloody cold!!0
-
That is about the worst drop a Saffer has ever committed in any form of the game3
-
Malan 50 - well played.0
-
I remember seeing Malan play a couple of years ago & thought he was an excellent player. Not surprised by this knock0
-
England motoring here0
-
We can have two Eoin Morgans in our team now!0
-
Curious innings by Billings.
As i said, i dont think he has 'it' at this level.

Well, that's Livingstone's lot at international T20 level, surely.2
-
Livingstone's pain is brief this time0
-
For now. He's young though! Don't write someone off completely on the basis of two appearancesFanny Fanackapan said:Well, that's Livingstone's lot at international T20 level, surely.

Agree. But I think his future lies more in the longer format.Leuth said:

3 wickets in 5 balls - gonna fall 10/15 short because of crap selection.0
-
2 runs off final over.0
-
Still a good score, bowl well and England win0
-
Problem is, even with Plunkett coming in at 7 we only have 5 bowlers.Leuth said:Still a good score, bowl well and England win
