Achieved the greatest result in their history beating Hungary 1-0. The national team is made up of semi professional footballers mostly playing in the Andorran league.

Off the bottom of their Group as well now with four points, its crazy as they're only three points behind 3rd now

Doesnt even look as though it was a smash and grab either, despite less than 30% possession they still managed 8-shots (five on target) - Remember this is a Hungary side that won a Group involving Portugal at the Euros last year

On another note Gibraltar would have got a point (maybe all three) against Cyprus tonight, instead they lost 2-1 scored an own goal and was 1-1 until the 87th min.

Look around World Football, the minnow nations are still getting beaten but are VERY slowly closing the gap... this is because they're gaining experience against the big sides who think they're too good to face them!!!
  • Hope we do ok against the minnows we are playing tomorrow

Sweden beat France 2-1 tonight, which is astonishing when you look at that French lineup and the clubs they play for

England are nothing compared to France when it comes to bottling it on the international stage. Arguably one of the best squads in the world but rarely perform.

What's also astonishing is how they manage to find a regular starting place for Sissoko.

The England national team is absolutely appalling. No courage or pride. As soon as its a finals competition we just want to hide and cannot rise to the occassion. In fact we go the complete opposite direction....where as every single other side ups their game when it gets serious.

How a chain of jewellery shops can compete on the international football stage is nothing short of a miracle.

France have won 2 tournaments and appeared in 2 more finals since England last made it past the quarter finals.

No one bottles it better than England at tournaments.

Blimey, thats the first time I've seen the Lloris error this morning despite getting about 4 or 5 messages about it from various people over the weekend.

As brilliant a shot stopper he is, his long kicking distribution is bloody awful more often than not.

This all day long. Sissoko is one of the worst 'footballers' I've ever seen in a Spurs shirt. Absolute fraud of a player.
