iPad keyboard covers google input box

edited June 2017 in Troubleshooting
Had this problem before but can't remember how I fixed it. Only started happening today. Is it something to do with today's google start page? Anyone else having this problem today? Difficult to use google to search for a solution.

  • Holding the iPad in portrait or landscape?
  • Ah...yes. If I hold it in portrait the problem is solved. But I always use my iPad in landscape mode. I will see if the problem persists tomorrow.
  • It's while the google homepage has a playable game.
Should be back to normal tomorrow.

    Cheers.
  • You can search simply by typing into the address bar of your browser. You don't need to use the Google search box.

I wonder how many people don't know you can do that. Obviously, it's less than before you posted.

@Rufus_Ambition, solving the world's problems one at a time.
  • Hold down F and G with one finger, H and J with another finger and pull them apart. The keyboard splits in two pieces which go to the bottom corners of the page and the input box is revealed.
  • Turn it off and then back on again.
