    Just seen this. Very sad. Loved his double act with Les Dawson and as Alec Gilroy in Corrie. R.I.P. Roy.

    Yes,I knew he was in a programme which had a genie in it but couldn't for the life of me remember what it was called..job done :smile:

    Me too. I recalled Hal and the shop owner but also couldn't remember the name of the series. Just spent 30 minutes watching clips from old episodes!

    Once saw him and Julie Goodyear in Heywood after a funeral. An exciting moment in an otherwise "one horse" town of north Manchester.
