13 points off a play off place and teams below us that we drew against or even lost to that we really should have beaten. A waste of a season.3

Pretty pointless trying any kind of analysis now, it's so last season.
Swindon were poor we were able to stroll around prettily and win.
However for me by far the most interesting thing was Aaron barnes' debut. Aaron actually did not touch the ball at all, but having watched his progress as a young player, and having got to know Dr Barnes (Aaron's dad) in recent months I want to say I am delighted for him.6 -

Makes me smile when people, elsewhere, say we were never in danger of relegation....they will no doubt say we finished 11 points away from the drop....yep and we finished 13 points from play-off place, hence we were closer to relegation than being promoted!! What a fantastic achievement with a top 6 budget, we finished 100% (just over) lower than we budgeted for, imagine where we could have been had we had a top half budget!!!6

a grim season comes to a close .. at least we finish on a winning streak albeit against very weak opposition .. let's all hope that next season the full potential of the club can get in top gear and we can get back to the championship .. it looks as though Robinson will be in charge at least at season's start .. he'll get my support unless he signs rubbish players, restarts talking out of his posterior and uses ridiculous tactics in the first few games
in the meantime, Millwall are in the play offs v Scunthorpe .. I have just bought a ticket for the game at Scunny and I will be cheering like mad and praying that 'the Iron' can hammer 'the Lions'16 -

Swindon were very poor and we did enough.
Taking JJ off before the end so he could get his standing ovation was the best piece of management Gobinson has done all year. I got a bit tearful as JJ walked off. We may not see his like again.

A decent finish to the dampest squib of a season to put it lightly. Swindon were poor and had wasted quite a few chances to score and even when they did it was offside. We did enough to win the game comfortably. Nice touch at the end when Josh came over to the East Stand to give his shirt to a fan. Shame we couldn't give the players a send off at the end.0

All about saying thank you to Johnnie for me. Disappointed he didn't get the opportunity for final tunnel jump. Brought lots of happy memories in better times.1

Players clearly affected by the protests again. Blame the black and white scum for another win.
We were all over Swindon but it was a dead rubber at the end of a dire season. We could have had more and we looked a decent side.
But no good looking good when it doesn't matter and the opposition are relegated already. Yes, there are some decent players and it could be a decent team but this wasn't a test at all.
Holmes was great, big Mag worked hard and scored, Bryne and Dasilva dangerous going forward and Rudd was flying into everything.
Huge reception for Jackson even though he's got another year.
Jonny Jackson's Red and White Army certainly had a ring to it.
Protests outside quiet but caused chaos for club so a win.
Protests inside loud throughout and the balloons worked so another win.
Huge police and stewarding bill for the most ineffective stewards ever seen so a third win.
Pathetic sight of female steward pushing young girl back into stand and then try to push over a parent carrying a small child. Rightly booed and then surrounded by other stewards who even they could see she had gone too far.

The lowest of low key end of season matches.
Swindon were woeful and we strolled through it never really having to get out of first gear.
Would like to have seen Barnes given longer - what harm would it have done giving him 20-25 mins in a game we were never going to loose?
Would like to see Da Silva back next season but suspect a Championship team will snap him up.
Heard a rumour that the young striker from Arsenal may be back on a season long loan and also heard a couple of potential signings were sitting in the stand watching - apparently Robinson confirmed this?
Ultimately it has been an absolute car crash of a season with some utter bilge served up. I still don't think Tarbuck is the man to get us firing and looking at his transfer dealings so don't trust him to bring the right sort of players in.
The lack of experience in the coaching staff concerns me and Tarbuck will need a decent number 2 or is going to get found out very quickly.
Expecting yet another large turn over of players. All loanees gone never to return. Konsa will no doubt be sold as well. As ever we will go into the summer with a load of "positive" background noise, but we all know if these clowns are here come August the squad will have 5 goalkeepers, 7 centrebacks, 1 winger and a striker.1 -

Two teams playing in second or third gear and we showed that little bit more desire to win it on the day.
Deserved prolonged ovation for Johnnie Jackson was the highlight for me what a shame he couldn't finish it with a goal.
Ricky Holmes showed why he is Player of The Year with a goal and two assists on what will probably prove to be his final appearance. A good signing I will remember with affection.
Why no Konsa in the squad today? Sold already? Still Katrien you avoided our worst finish since 1926 so every decision is the right one isn't it?
As a Charlton fan I'm always glad to see us win and my daughter was with me too which is a bonus but my overwhelming emotion I'm afraid, despite the win, is thank God this season is over.
