A sign of how clubs can rapidly decline, York City have been relegated for the second season running and will be in the 6th tier next season.

    Guiseley scored in the last minute to send York down.

    In the 70's they played in the same division as Man U and Chelsea.

    In the 90's they played in the same division as Man City and hammered Man U at Old Trafford.

    Next year they will be playing Curzon Ashton.

    Only a handful of years ago were they in the League Two Play-Offs thanks to Nick Pope and his Goalkeeping
