London Marathon 2017

London looking great again this year. Perfect weather and on course for a women's world record (think she'll blow up soon).

Anyone watching?

Disgraceful commentary from Foster and Cram. So totally biased in favour of the second placed bloke. Glad Wanjiru held on.

Actually this year I didn't pilfer any water coz I could only watch for fifteen minutes. Was well impressed by the chap carrying the washing machine
  • Huge well done to Josh Griffiths... Wasnt even in the Elite race yet part of the masses.

First Brit home and is now eligible for the World Championships later in the year!!
  • Well done as well to the Swansea Harrier who just stopped their race at the end to ensure another runner got the support to finish themselves.

I think he was on to break 3 hours so he must have been on rocket fuel...

Former Charlton employee James Westlake finished in 2 hr26

He finished 27th apparently! That's absolutely incredible if correct

Crawley AC have some cracking runners. Not surprising to see some in the elite groups.

that's 27th not including the elites, they are treated seperately though I've never really understood why

    still really impressive though
