Kav's a good bloke and a mate, so no that's not what I meant. My point was that it would hard to find a worse chief exec than Meire. Even at Gillingham...Off_it said:
Eh? Are you calling Kavanagh a clown, or have I misunderstood?Airman Brown said:

Usual nonsense from Kav - working together, involving everyone including fans, having ambition. As if that would ever work.

You clearly don't remember my possibly "off the mark" comment about the former Charlton CEO when he was in situ.
I think both @Airman Brown and @suzisausage remember it well....2 -

Great CEO he did a remarkable job, particularly in the last year or so of the Jimenez and Slater era.0

According to Kavanagh today people are realising they, "...actually quite like Millwall."

Er...not in this parish Kav I'm afraid and I don't think they'll be many fellow Hammers nodding in agreement either :-)1 -
Yeah, clubs all over the country look forward to playing them.

You mean the PR staff at Millwall allow their CEO to speak in public?3
-
I know, radical eh! Then again he can probably be trusted to promote his club in a positive light and not to alienate even more of his customers.Henry Irving said:You mean the PR staff at Millwall allow their CEO to speak in public?

How depressing it is when millwall are being run better than Charlton.
And they could well be in a division above us next season.
Like I said depressing.3 - Sponsored links:

Brilliant - "I remember, in about 1997, watching a short-lived teatime quiz show on Channel 5 called Whittle. One of the questions was: “Who destroyed the Parthenon?” The four multiple-choice answers were: “The Romans”, “The Babylonians”, “The Venetians” and – to peals of laughter from the studio audience – “Millwall Fans”.2

I wonder if Kav will be saying the same at 4pm tomorrow ?
Interesting that Millwall seem to have the same ambition as Charlton. I'll start a new thread for this.
In a league dominated by short-term deals and wandering journeymen, Millwall’s trust in continuity stands out. The average player has been at the club for four years. Academy graduates make up around a third of the squad, and Kavanagh says the eventual goal is to raise that to 50 per cent.
