Oops, Love Reign O'er Me (but I wouldn't mind a lover reigning over me either)

You choose some tough ones Henry, again I could have added quite a few more.

    Baba O’Riley – it’s only teenage wasteland

Behind Blue Eyes – fantastic ballad

I can see for miles – ‘cause there’s magic in my eyes

    My Generation – classic

Won’t get fooled again – we’ll be fighting in the streets

I was tempted to put So Sad, Baba O'Riley and a few others in as well including the Patti Smith version of My Generation.

    1. Won't Get Fooled Again - Full Version - the Daltrey scream - awesome!!
    2. Bell Boy - (Keiths theme) Something slightly "punky" about it. "..always running at someones bleeding heels"
    3. Baba O'Reilly - I just love the instrumental sound. "..put out the fire before we get much older"
    4. Substitute - The Live at Leeds version - just a bit more angst. "..I look bloody(pretty) young but I'm just backdated"
    5. My Generation - The Anthem. "..I'm not trying to cause a big s-sensation, I'm just talking 'bout my g-generation"

    My next 5 would be

    Love Reign Over Me
    Behind Blue Eyes
    Dr Jimmy,
    I Can See For Miles
    Pinball Wizard

    :-)

Must have done Gh, although to be fair I was between four and eight when they were at their pomp and the beard or the musical interest hadn't quite developed by then. By the time Quadrophenia came along my musical tastes had already been shaped eleswhere.

Not saying there hasn't been stuff I've liked, but sorry, just not my type of music I'm afraid.

The long version of Won't get Fooled Again which demolishes 99.9999% of all other recorded music

    Then I'd say
    The kids are alright
    Pictures of Lily
    My Generation

The Sex Pistols version of Substitute was bloody excellent BTW

I think the subject line is very confusing ... I didn't realise they had made even one good record. Just like The Beatles.
