I'm getting hundreds of email notifications that messages have been posted on threads I've been on.
How can I stop this?

    I have the same problem and it is very annoying

    I used to get this, but randomly hit stuff related to my Charlton Life persona and they stopped.
    For me it was a case of trial and error and forget.

    I get it for discussions I've started. The only other time I'll get it is if someone does the @LenGlover or @iainment in your case.

    Yes. I see that the star is yellow on the threads emaing me and blank on the others.

    Yeah just click the stars again and it'll remove the yellow and stop the e-mail's

    I seem to do it whenever using my phone

    To stop it happening again....

    Go in full site version (non mobile)
    Click on your name top-right
    Click on the little head drop down button on the right
    Click Edit Profile
    Click Notification Preferences on the left
    Untick anything in the Email column
