Translation problem ?

My Mrs is Thai and driving home last nite after picking her up from work we were talking about my birthday. I asked her the very old question "so will u still love me when im old and grey?" and got the answer "i do !" ------- some thing lost in the translation surely ?????????????

    a few years back I got to know two german girls , one of which myself and les says are still friends with .

    I quite fancied her mate and would go clubbing with them both , after a month or so of this and not knowing where I stood I decied to ask right out .

    me "so do you, er , ever think we'll be more than just friends?"

    her "do you mean the army boots or the denim jacket?"

    what the ****?
