Id be amazed if some of the writers of Westworld aren't the same who wrote Lost. It's such a mess of a series yet I feel I have to stick with it in case there is some perfect revelation that makes all of it make sence.
In reality I suspect they don't have a clue in what direction this show is going .
I actually think the opposite is true now we've seen the end. The plot was clearly planned from start to finish and all adds up!
HBO have just registered web domains for ExploreSamuariWorld so it looks like they're expanding.
Let's see how successful you are before we buy those costumes
I loved it personally. Thought they gave enough clues for everyone to theorise, then sufficiently pulled the rug to entertain. Despite some major plot holes, like people leaving the park and a VIP event when the park was on security lock down, I thought it held up well. Can't believe we have to wait till 2018.
Just getting to the last couple of eps of Stranger Things, have really enjoyed this series. Set in small town America in the 1980s, horrish thriller that squeezes in music from The Clash and Joy Divisiom. Highly recommend
Just finished StartUp on Amazon. Picked up after a slow start. Some good twists and turns but the pacing was terrible and far too many long shots of Martin Freeman staring into space.
Watched Rillington Place . Tim Roth is brilliant but it's bloody grim . I can't believe people actually lived in houses so grey and depressing as seen in this.
Anyone been watching season tow of man in the high castle?
We started on Saturday and my hearing ain't the best so had to turn it up loud then the wife and the in laws the following day all said they could hardly make out what people were saying. Looked on twitter and it seems a lot of people saying the same.
Been watching Two Doors Down on bbc2. It's a second season but I wasn't aware of the first. Excellent sit com with brilliantly observed characters. Probably helps to be Scottish to get some of it.

is it good was going to watch season 1 the other day?

Enjoyed both seasons (and the pilot). I haven't got a Scottish bone in my body, but know enough Scots folk to "get it".

if you've seen the Attenborough movie from the 1970's there was no need to watch this .. a strung out version of a very grim tale .. I gave up 1/2 way through the first episode, although it seemed well acted and the settings were realistic .. immediate post WW2 England was a grim and depressing place, probably up until the late 1950's
Just watched the last black mirror episode, enjoyed the series apart from this one which contained some shocking acting, most notably from Kelly Macdonald.
Just watched first episode of Quarry on Sky it looks promising so far
I've seen the subsequent episodes. It's good but doesn't quite live up to the promise of the first episode.
Completely agree with this, I also enjoyed it. Couple of great performances from the always good Peter Mullan and the gent who played Dewi Crow in Justified.
Am I somehow missing new Scandi/Euro crime on BBC4 or C4? It's mid-winter and i've got nothing stored or lined up.
This is a Brexit job, isn't it?
No. Looks like repeats of young montebano from Saturday. I have recommended to you in the past the French cop series on Fox called Braquo. All series available as a box set with virgin. Would like if enjoyed Spiral.

Rich Fulcher of Mighty Boosh fame is excellent in it.

That's right.
So clever how it's both written and performed and genuine laugh out loud moments.
Still on iplayer if you missed it

Personal favourite of mine.
Light hearted escapism.
Started off brilliantly but now the secret is kind of out, it's a bit dull. Wondering if season2 is worth the effort?
