I agree. I suspect that by the time he is back playing our season will already be predictable. the only caveat to this is that I've not see Botaka play yet and he might, just, be able to provide adequate cover - but I doubt it!
Also we haven't had it confirmed yet, there is a chance that it will not be two months (or twelve games), with luck it might not be that bad - again I doubt it!1 -

In fact, I quick look at their Careers portal shows the description of a Systems Administrator position - and the first bullet point is:implement approved changes on the production systems according to company standards in order to achieve 24x7 uptime of operations and continuously improve infrastructure
Humorously, this is later on in the description too:analyze the root cause of recurring incidents and resolve them in a timely manner in order to avoid recurrence of the issue
Now this is all bog standard IT stuff, but I'm pondering whether creating fake job-advert flyers may be a good way of contrasting just how he views his football clubs: as a toy, not a serious investment.2 -

Worth remembering that this was the result of a deliberate challenge which our commentary boys said warranted at least a yellow, but went unpunished.
Like so many injuries to Charlton players in the past, starting with Matty Holmes.
There should be retrospective punishment for stuff like this but our precious referees won't countenance having any of their decisions reviewed, even though we would forgive things they miss due to human error, so long as the culprits are dealt with after video evidence.3 -

It's ok @3blokes, I've been on a course last few days where the aim is to assess how good we are at 'navigating ambiguity'
So, armed with my new found belief in my ability to navigate ambiguity I would say that I have concluded as follows:
Roland got a bit upset over the weekend
There were plans to change manager if results did not improve, these were accelerated due to Duchatelet losing the plot again. There is no backup plan and o'loughlin would be manager now but for Daisy winning a very minor and useless victory in discussion with Duchatelet.
Duchatelet is a complete moron
His management team at CAFC are extremely incompetent and seem to favour bullying, lies and a fake front ahead of truth, collaboration and joint success.
Overall, what has been made even more obvious is how far removed from our club reality the oligarch Duchatelet is, how he controls any significant decisions but on the basis of lies, how he hates being faced directly with this rather than seeking to ignore it.
He is a disgrace of a man served by pathetic incompetents and should be reminded as often as possible of this.

I thought we played better without Holmes.
Instead of having 2 options, pass to Holmes or lump it to Magennis.
We actually got other players running and pushing more forward.
A better team performance without Holmes and a negative Slade or just coincidence ?1 -
good perceptive post .. could be a bit of both .. I think Slade's obsession with defence made the players fearful of attacking and/or making a mistake .. and of course it's always easier to pass to a more talented colleague rather than take a chance on your own abilities2
