Don't mind that he's only made three changes. Our usual back 4 will get more of a test tonight than in all of qualifying.

Completely passed me by. Enjoying a Leon Russell tribute on the jukebox in the pub.
    Which is better, I think.

Lallana's easily our most creative player.

Someone needs to tell Tyldesey that the "denying a goal scoring opportunity" rule changed months ago.

Let me guess, Rooney's absence being felt already

Doesn't it still exist but keepers now will only get a booking if a penalty is awarded and they make a genuine attempt to get the ball?
  • De Gea and Diego Costa rested?

I know tongue in cheek but we are such a counter attacking side that breaking average sides down will always be our downfall

Don't really like Sterling's play most of the time, but he's having a very good game tonight.

    Lingaard makes me weep

    Is that Cunning Lingaard?
  • Poor Southgate, he's going to be forced into taking the job.

Rooney must not play again btw
  • I'm reading Vardy's book at the moment, which is not a bad read actually, pleased he scored , considering where he's come from.

Gotta say, I was really against a Southgate being appointed, but if he can get a performance like this out... We look very good.

We usually do in friendlies, remember we won away to Germany before the Euro's that got everyone hyped up and also beat Portugal too
  • Could do with Isco in the Charlton midfield.

Playing a fast counter-attacking style without Rooney
