Just like when Fraeye came over to take in a game when Powell was in charge. That was just a coincidence and even though he was in the directors box with a lap top he wasn't scouting for Roland at all.
Yes, he was officially employed a few weeks later but the two events weren't connected.

RD all over. If Slade goes what proven British based manager (for a club of our size) would want the job? He can go for the British network manager instead. Of course usual few will see nothing wrong with the appointment either.2

To be honest, if they were to sack Slade and appoint him, it would be another example of the incompetence. Yes they may spin it as 'we gave you an English manager' etc, but trust me an 8th appointment in just under 3 years would very much play into our hands re: how they are perceived in the wider footballing world.
I believe their credibility is shot in the English game as it is. Unfortunately if Slade doesn't work out, yet another nail/own goal by our clueless CEO4 -
If Slade goes Katrien can still say each managerial appointment has been a success because we had 0 points at the start of the season.16

Slade is safe now, the performances may not have been great, but 8 points in 4 matches isn't "sackable" form when the guy has a 3 year contract to be paid up!4

IMHO Meire doesn't decide when a manager is sacked. Duchatelet does. Meire would keep Slade on until the end of his contract because the alternative means more work for her. Duchatelet the megalomaniac makes decisions on a whim. Which means Slade will get the boot once Douche gets bored.8

When Peeters, Luzon and Fraeye got sacked, it was after a long run of bad results.
