Rudd: 6 - had my heart in mouth once but otherwise sound
Solly: 7 - had a really good game for me, seems well in control and surprisingly pacey
Fox: 7 - good positioning, good crosses, some very good tackles. Even boo boys around me were praising him
Bauer: 6 - generally solid but his distribution has gone a bit wayward
Pearce: 7 - very solid
Holmes: 8 - goodness he can dribble with a turn of speed
Ulvestad: 6 - not bad, not great
Crofts: 5 pretty ordinary for me
Lookman: 5 - ditto
Magennis: 8 - very good and unlucky not to score a couple
Ajose: 5 - got into good space but missed a couple that should have been nailed on. Hope he starts firing soon.
Botaka: looked very good
Novak: looked a bit slow in the beginning but scored and had a second chance as well so fair play.1 -

Better team and deserved to win, but fuck me, we made hard work of it.4 -
Rudd: 6 Few opportunities to create an impression one way or the other.
Solly: 6.5 Looked to be struggling physically at times, carrying an injury maybe, but his usual competent all round performance. Shame about the shot though!
Fox: 6.5 Got done by Evans early on and also had to cope with Afryidi (?spelling) but stuck to his task and had a reasonable game.
Bauer: 7 Solid
Pearce: 7 Best game I've seen him play since he joined.
Holmes: 7.5 Deserved assist. Not everything came off for him by any means but he always puts in a shift and never hides.
Ulvestad: 6.5 Faded a bit in the second half but some good moments.
Crofts: 6.5 Better than last week and a nice ball for Ajose in the first half.
Lookman: 6 The boy is just 19 and perhaps the mental and physical demands of professional football are beginning to get to him. He looks jaded to me. Defenders have begun to rough him up a little bit and he hasn't yet learned how to cope.
Magennis: 7.5 Two decent headers and normal hardworking performance. My MOM narrowly from Ricky.
Ajose: 6.5 At least he was there to miss them!1 -

Rudd: 6 - not much to do. Fumbled one cross but generally sound. One of our most consistent players
Solly: 6.5 - not extended. Would like to see him get forward more
Fox: 6.5 - a difficult start to the game but did ok and got in some crunching tackles
Bauer: 7 - some wayward distribution in the first half but generally classy and untroubled. I fear we could lose him in January
Pearce: 7 - a very solid, no-nonsense performance. Tried to drive us on
Holmes: 8 -MOM: skilful, direct and, as usual, worked like a Trojan. Not everything came off but he had the courage and determination to keep trying
Ulvestad: 6 - a weak and static first half, better in the second
Crofts: 6 - drove us forward towards the end of the game, although, by then, Chesterfield had dropped back 20 yards
Lookman: 5 - looked tired, both physically and mentally, and his body language was poor. Maybe the club should give him a week off to rest up and recharge his batteries
Magennis: 7 - put in his usual shift and drew a couple of decent saves from their keeper
Ajose: 5 - he desperately needs to put these sort of chances away. Hopefully, a goal or two will help him regain his confidence

Lookman:6 Not his best. Maybe trying too hard. Would like to say him played down the middle.

Fox: 7 did really well today going forward and back.

Pearce: 7.5 starting to grow on me now, wasn't too sure at first but proving to be solid.
Holmes: 8 usual amazing work rate, inevitably runs himself down a blind alley a few times a game but God knows what we'd do without him.
Ulvestad: 6.5 decent, still waiting for him to really push up the pitch with the ball, feel like Slade's really restricting his ability.
Crofts: 7 another one growing on me. Does his job to a t. Think he gets slack because of the lack of creative license given by Slade to him and Ulvestad
Lookman: 6 an off game. Some of the abuse he gets is unbelivable. Then fans wonder why so many promising players fall off. Fans like you.
Magennis: 6.5 done everything he could, good hall through to Ajose and bar some decent saves could have had a goal or 2 himself.
Ajose: 6 similar to Lookman, leave him alone. Come in in pretty awkward circumstances and IMO did well considering. Got in to the position we know he can but lack of confidence meaning he snatched at chances. Can still see him developing very well if given the chance by Slade.
