A chance to watch the team, nice and local to a lot of you. Please take the opportunity to get down there, if you can, to help out a decent local team. They would like to get a good crowd down there.

You are probably being sarky Brendan but they were started in August. I said to an old mate I would try an publicise it as he's involved down there.
I know its £9 quid but its to try and help out a local club. Ill check if the discount for season ticket holders is correct and see if any other incentives.
I had completely forgot about it though.

Lived more or less opposite when a kid and often climbed the walls there or at VCD to play football. Or indeed went in via the golf course. Might be like old times.0

Haven't been to Phoenix since they kicked out the cricketers 20 years ago.
Bastards. Never forgiven them for making Ernie cry after the vote at that meeting.1

Not at all, I promise. Just wanted to get people as much info as possible as Phoenix are a cracking little club that deserve a good payday.Curb_It said:You are probably being sarky Brendan but they were started in August. yep get your arses down there take your season ticket £5 plus Phoenix lager £2 a pint.3

Just repeating what others have said, but they are a great club and it would be brilliant to get a big turnout.
I coach an u-13 team for phoenix and am trying to get all the kids and parents to come, would be good if the boys had a decent crowd around the ground.
Fiver for season ticket holders and u16 are free.3

What is parking like in/around the ground? Any advice please.0
-

Plenty of street parking on surrounding roads (all within 5 minute walk). The main road that the ground in on has a lot of double yellows so avoid that if you can.redman said:What is parking like in/around the ground? Any advice please.
The car park in the ground is for players and staff only.

So it looks like none of the yoof will be involved on Saturday which I find a bit strange.2
-
No left back starting? Three at the back?0
-

Understandable to me. Russ needs to put on a decent display in the cup as he has not exactly cemented his position yet! I expect him to play virtually the first team on Saturday.dickplumb said:So it looks like none of the yoof will be involved on Saturday which I find a bit strange.
