Agreed. We need to get Tex back in the side. If he's happy enough to turn out for the kids, then i don't see why he can't/won't play for the first team. Unless it's simply down to our esteemed manager not wanting him to play.1

Slade was there with Nugent, standing on the touchline by the exit gate 2nd half. I 'encountered' them almost by accident when AFC were awarded their 2nd pen. Mentioned Ba - 'he's some way away from first team yet' (despite playing 75 mins today?), Tex 'Getting there, his first full 90 minutes after 60 last week'. Didn't seem appropriate to pursue comments further, plus they were both talking to others.2
