2016/17 Betting Thread

5 days to go , we might aswel start a fresh. Who's done what for the season ahead?

I like the look of Brentford to be promoted 11/1. Think they will be solid this year.

I also think a bit of money could be made on Chesterfield winning the odd unexpected game. Evans is class at this level.

Sheffield United are the bookies friend. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

For those who fancy SheffUnited. Let's consider Scunthorpe won at Utd last game of season, and only missed out on playoffs because Barnsley won at Wigan, 4-1 After being a goal down. Scunthorpe won 7 of last 8 games including away at Burton. They have kept top scorer (23 goals Paddy Madden) and improved the squad. But for a slow start last year and a patch where drawing was a habit, they would have made it last year. , 20/1 with BET365.

    Burton win/draw
    Northampton win
    Grimsby win

Just shy of 7/1 with betvictor.

Had a treble of Norwich , Ipswich and Portsmouth. The latter who played against ten men for an hour drew 1-1. Let me down for £198.

Plymouth let me down on another 4 fold for £192.

    New season same shit

Grrr, Germany in the Olympics cost me £1600

Had Argentina, Germany, Mexico, Feyenoord, Ajax, Benfica, CSKA, Basel, Malmo, Hadjuk Split, Shakhtar Donetsk, ManUre, Celtic and Juventus in an acca. Thankfully also done it in 13's and 14's so got some money out of that.

Paddy Power - Top Prem Goalscorer. £25 bet but you get £2 free bet for every goal your chosen one scores. I did Aguero to be top last year. He wasn't but won £43 on my free bets, so was up on the deal.

I've done Vardy this season at 18/1 e/w 1/5 of odds top 6. £295 if he wins including money back & £57.50 for top 6 including money back. Plus hopefully 20 x £2 free bets.

    Gone with Lukaku at 12/1
£205 if he wins it, £42.50 if he makes the top 6.
Need him to get 13 goals to make my money back in free bets regardless.

Paddy Power are continuing their 'Hotshot Jackpot' this season. Started at the Euros.

Its a weekly competition where you have to pick 8 anytime scorers from the 8 games they pick.
Unlikely to win it but like 'Super 6' with Sky Bet its completely free to enter and has a top prize of £250k

There are prizes each week for making the top 10 etc.
    Worth a go.
