Brother Ray was a soldier for the frays/lannisters. But again, it isn't beric or thoros' style to murder a whole village..Fiiish said:When the Lannisters were running rampant throughout the Riverlands murdering the smallfolk, that at least made some sense, since part of warfare is eliminating the smallholdings and supplies to the Lords. What purpose does murdering a bunch of penniless church builders serve? Unless it was just to punish the bloke for being cheeky to them?

An episode with a story for no one.1
-
the chase scene was like watching Terminator
no trial by combat was a bit of a shocker, Cleganegate is postponed
and Arya Stark is back but with extra badass0 -
Will Brienne and Pod bump into Gendry if they keep rowing? he has to be out there somewhere2

Good episode but they've got a lot to still fit in. Did someone say there's only one more series after this??0

TWO SERIES, SEASON 7 WILL HAVE 7 EPISODES AND SEASON 8 WILL HAVE 6.ValleyGary said:Good episode but they've got a lot to still fit in. Did someone say there's only one more series after this??

I enjoyed this one, but I thought they fumbled Arya's story somewhat. Her skipping through town last week made no sense at all. It only worked if it was a trap. Which it wasn't really. Felt like they interrupted it to tie off Lady Crane's story.
Some of the dialogue was excellent though. "We all die. Except him" was my favourite. Along with Qyburn's raised eyebrow when his creation pulled that guy's head off.
Can't predict who will survive next week which is great, although I have to assume Ramsay's going to regret not listening to his father.
A lot of chat about Caitlyn too...0 -

Also last episode of this series will reportedly be 2 hours (including ads) or 1hr 30.
Next series episodes will reportedly be mixed between double length episodes as well as normal length episodes...

yeah, was honestly a bit gutted when i saw beric. In the books he sacrifices himself to bring back catelyn and there he stands, years after the red wedding. Lots about catelyn, and last week just after ray says "its never too late to come back" and the brotherhood showed up (that we now know werent of the brotherhood) i thought it was foreshadowing LSH. Just a lot of references to blue ball us i guess. If she does turn up, it would be the end of ep. 10, but not couting on it.JiMMy 85 said:I enjoyed this one, but I thought they fumbled Arya's story somewhat. I think that bringing back Beric in the show has put an end to Stoneheart. The only reason to show him again would be for the transition, but it would have been years now since the red wedding. Equally they won't be adding any new story lines now, to much to cover already.kentaddick said:

Yeah it's pretty clear they're going to streamline the storylines together. The only thing you can really cling to is the guys who got hanged are part of a bigger group, but maybe the hound saw to the others too.mcgrandall said:

I kind of figured she might reappear so that the Brothers could become part of John's army for Bastardbowl. Seems kind of unlikley they'll be linking up with that though if it's happening next week, mind you last we heard Jon was several thousand men short of an army so the are going to have to rush through him assembling the rest of his force if there is going to be a battle next week.0
-
Don't forget Littlefinger's army - Sansa almost certainly sent him a note, he's likely to turn up Gondor-style to turn the battle.5
-
Yeah, there is that I guess, although I was hoping they might not go for that old cliche.0

Next week's episode looks fucking epic1

For anyone disappointed about LSH not appearing, Lem has done the speech
Think this pretty much guarantees she won't be coming or he wouldn't have done this

I can imagine Warwick Davis putting a size 2 boot through his telly when Dinklage delivered his worlds most famous dwarf line.5

They're not bringing Lady Stoneheart into it?0

Funny thing is Peter Dinklage probably is the better known now.... Kids don't care about who sat inside an ewok costume in the early 80's.SantaClaus said:I can imagine Warwick Davis putting a size 2 boot through his telly when Dinklage delivered his worlds most famous dwarf line.
Tyrion Lannister however, there is a full character.2 -
I don't think we'll see Bastardbowl or Cleganebowl until the extended episode in a couple of weeks.Exiled_Addick said:I kind of figured she might reappear so that the Brothers could become part of John's army for Bastardbowl. It's in next week's preview. It's directed by the same guy who directed Hardhome so it should have fantastic fighting sequences.Dazzler21 said:
