Prepared to travel to Northampton not to bad if your leaving via Heathrow?
    Wouldn't leave mine anywhere else.

Flying out of Gatwick is always fun, up to Northampton drop the dogs off and back to Gatwick. My dogs go in the family kennels none of this boarding with the locals murlarky and I get mates rates, still costs me £600 though. :(

We've got my cousins boy coming here on the 16th for 5 days looking after the dogs and chickens for 70 euro and a knuckle sandwich and count himself lucky

We live in Lee but willing to drive down into Kent. Northampton seems a long way to go, depends how desperate we get.

The Nook at Gravesend is the only one I can think of Nug. Opposite Inn On The Lake on A2, next junction down from the old Toll Gate turn off

Beaux Aires is good, the dogs get a run of a field on their own at least 3 times a day, they are really friendly they have heating in the kennels too if it's cold and the dogs get lots of one2one attention. It's just off of the a249 detling.

Or there's bracken lodge in Charing near Ashford. They are cheaper but a lot smaller and they provide any food you want. They are a lovely family run business but don't use the grooming service there as its poo.

Don't use jasmil in lower halstow, they are very rude and don't seem to care about the dogs and last time I used them my dog came home with a bite mark on his ear and they denied it was anything to do with them.

Blackwell tunnel, M11, M25, M1 junction 15 absolute doddle, I know what you mean though. My Bailey and JJ's dad was born there and there is nowhere else I would leave my dogs.

Viking Oak - Seven Mile Lane in Sevenoaks.

Been there for over 35 years I think - must be doing something right

I would recommend Deanland Kennels in Wilmington.

Found this old thread rather than create a new one - pre-emptively looking for any dog walkers/sitters around the Charlton area for the days when we're both back at work (maybe once/twice a week) or for the odd weekend away.

Ideally just looking for anyone who comes recommended, even if it's e.g. a friend's kid on a school holiday who's after some pocket money.

If Rita's still in the dog walking/sitting/grooming/loving game I'll drop her a message @Cardinal Sin? Arsenal fans are fine, draw the line at the oiks from the Den - feel like I'd leave our little fluffy kokoni in the morning and somehow come back to a raging pitbull with a lust for blood.

For future reference, these kinds of requests need to go over in the marketplace
