In my paper today " Slade Rocks up at the Valley" Russell Slade is set to be named as Charlton boss after less than a month as Cardiff's head of football.
Slade 55, guided the Bluebirds to the brink of the play-off places but Paul Trollope took over as first team boss. He has decided to try to guide Charlton back
to the second tier after relegation from the Championship

    Slade has stuck for a while - and the rumour hasn't bee denied by anybody - so it would be a massive surprise if it wasn't him.
