If Russell Slade is to be our new manager.
Do you think, that we will get the chance to see what he thinks of young Tony?.
We were told that he wanted to sign him for
Cardiff....

    It would be nice - although I think we are more likely to see the type of players he worked with at Orient.

    By the time a new manager is appointed, Tony would have been transferred.

    I would add Matt Spring but I can't see him taking a step down from Hemel Hepmpstead Town.

    I don't think KM or RD will take any notice of which players the new manager will want to keep. After all, it's their club, so they get to choose. That's what we're learning, isn't it?

  • If he can keep his head when all about him
    Are losing theirs and blaming it on him,
    If he can trust himself when all men doubt him,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
    If he can wait and not be tired by waiting,
    Or being lied about, (well that'll be no surprise),
    He may just take a look at Watt, and then decide,
    He could be the answer, and we might just survive.

    No, RD and KM will see him as too expensive and see him as a player they can get a fee for.

    They'll sell Watt, Vetokele and Lookman, replace them with two signings and expect a couple of KAG, Kennedy, Umerah and Hanlan to step up.

    perhaps a tad self-indulgent but the ending is to die for, literally.
