    I quite enjoy Paddy Power's baiting of idiots to be honest. If you looked on Twitter right after they aired that advert it was full of weird little men calling them racist and claiming they were going to close their accounts because of a song where some Scottish people said they were going to bet against England. That's hilarious! I never find these people in real life, it's nice to be able to look in on them occasionally

    I saw a "friend" on FB properly ranting about it and how they will be losing [English] customers over it. Very strange. Just a bit of fun.

    i think paddy power are hilarious, its a bit of fun, constantly poking fun at england.

    there best one i think was;

    roy keane - mocked up at william wallace shouting at least weve got our freddom you wee pussies on the side of a bus was my favourite,

    and from the weekend they had this little anecdote;

    milwall eqaulise so the civil war between there fans at wembley is paused temporarily.

    For what it's worth, I was in Scotland at the weekend and my mates up there were very unhappy with this advert. Cringeworthy.

    As long as you follow the only bet what you're able to lose rule, I suppose you're ok. Paddy Power is not really interested in you though is it? It's the ones pumping money on bets and their FOBTs they're really after. And enticing people in with laddish adverts is a way to hook people into gambling. And some of them will end up with an addiction that ruins lives.
    I gamble occasionally but don't fool myself it's anything but a mug's game.
