Love him or hate him, he is a very intelligent, articulate and engaging person. I had the opportunity to speak to him at an Adidas/Chelsea led event when I worked for them, and he took the time to speak to anyone and everyone, and he was funny, relaxed, humble and self depreciating too, the complete opposite of his on pitch demeanour.
I hope for his sake it is all lies and he has been doing all he can for his birthplace3 -
