Most over hyped tipster Pricewise and is showing a loss for the past two years but keeps on getting hyped with no stats provided from the Racing Post only a mention of a winner when it happens.Was given the stats at a Cheltenham preview evening and amazed how bad they are.0

I've got a feeling Min is going to let a lot of people down. Altior has that devastating turn of pace and has answered many more questions than Min.
I'm on Altior but will cover with Min forcast

Pricewise was the original concept of a guy called Mark Cotton (he also wrote a couple of well received books including one called Value Betting). We are going back almost 30 years and by his own admission a lot of the recommendations were based on a particular bookmaker being out of line with the rest e.g. Ladbrokes going particularly short on an Irish horse. With the advent of Betfair there has, of course, been a complete turnaround where bookies no longer need moles in the top stables because the market offers a major clue to a particular horse's chances.
Equally, whereas at one time, Segal et al were feared due to his influence, his lack of success, particularly over jumps means that they aren't quite so keen to halve a recommendations.
Going back to Cotton, I spoke to him a decade ago and asked him how the punting was going. He said that he only had the odd fun bet as all value had gone and was a university lecturer - and the subject of his lectures had nothing to do with punting!4 -
