why is torchwood in hd but doctor who isn't??

    just watched dr Who. Since when has Dr Who been Doctor Spock ? with the Vulcan mind prob .

    Apparently, if they were to film Dr Who in HD, they'd need to build a completely new TARDIS as the set wasn't built to the standards required by HD. See link:

    At least a couple of years. He did the same thing in the episode with the clockwork robots.
